M.M. Pant ( www.mmpant.net ) and ( www.flipmooc.wordpress.com ) is a Ph.D. in Computational Physics, with a Professional Degree in Law and after a long innings as an academic researcher and educator is now exploring new pedagogy, technology and curricula to succeed in the future, with focus on the 2nd half of the 2nd decade of the 21st century, the period heralding the fourth Industrial Revolution. He has a special interest in education as a means of behavioural change, self-learning with MOOCs and OERs, leveraging social media and bringing the tablets, smartphones and other handhelds into the flipped classroom in a framework named “Learning 221: Learning for the 2nd Decade of the 21st Century”. He has been a pro-vice chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India, faculty Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Kanpur, India, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) at Allahabad, India. He has also been a faculty at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
